Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
you have low rep, mate
you have to have an active "life" around this forum, mostly posting new stuff...
seniority comes once passed the 200 points of rep...
cheers.
david
p.s.
many members are in the same position as you. i wonder how come that only now you realized this. the new rules are over 1 year old!!!

Hi bro, the rules have changed. i also faced the same situation. You need 200 reps and 200 posts to be a senior member. the rest you know what to do......... BTW can you share installer for Aircom 5.2 in PM. reps will be added.

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
Dear Moderator,
I think I have passed basic requirements in terms posts and reps to become senior member.
Can you please check and update my status.
Thanking you

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
Does this post count towards my becomming a senior member ?? LOL
Actually I feel the 200 or so posts is more than reasonable. I also suspect that depending on the quality of the posts that content goes towards the desion of when you may qualify as as senoir member.
Tonyliu the reputation is detemined by the number of posts and the usefullness IE attachments ect.

I. To become a senior member, those requirements below need to be met:
1. At least 200 posts
2. At least 200 points of reputation
3. At least 50 days from the registration
II. The putting password to the attached files is now allowed only for the med of forum_based related software and/or med come together with the installer
With any reasons, putting password to the attached files (not med mentioned above) will make the poster:
1. timeline banned
2. member title will be decreased one level
Thank for your support.

Hello Kamy,
It is AND between conditions ? For example if somebody has below 200 posts BUT his reputation is above 200 can get to senior level ?
Cheers

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
Hi,
I think having 200 posts is a silly requirement because just sitting in front of computer and issue invaluable posts couldn't be a good idea. Having enough REP is good point, which shows how people are rating the posts of sender
Cheers

Hi babak,
If you see, is not so silly. Writed after the becoming a senior are writed banning rules. When user posts 'thkanks' or 'great info' replys, quickly those account are banned.

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
Could we try to encourage members to list the contents of the attachment so that we know if the files are relevant?
-
Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
Try to share more usefull knowledge and tools, then we also can get more support form others.

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
Bro! I dont understand the difference b/w credits & reputations. can anyone please explain?
-
Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
hi;
Reputaion reflect the real value of your attachement DOC given to your count by member who are intersting by it , but the credit is incremented as much as your shared file will be opened and it reflect .
So let us say that both of them show how much are you efficient and active.

Just posting valid material may not enough as it may need to be luck enough to receive some rep from others:funk:
Most of them are happy to give "thanks" but "rep" T_T

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
I understand the rule is rule, but I am a person who is only interested in reversing engineering, and I am not interested in any RF software in this forum. I do want to access the forbidden zone as I may benefit from learning some new reversing knowledges. unfortunately, does that mean I need to post 200 ******** or *****ing before I can become a senior member? does that make sense?

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
Dear zhgong007,
You know that nothing is free in this world :), so before asking something you should give something as this is the theory of this forum as i see it.

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
I am sure there is nothing free anywhere.... well most of the time...:)
The problem with reputation is, it is totally dependent on the number of persons interesting in your subject. sometimes even a very good thing can just pass by and a very general thing can become a hotcake.....:)
Anyway i have just joined, so should not complain about anything. In fact i can't even see an attachment.....hahahahahah :):)
Maybe in few years .........
