Answer is no. Reps only given by other members when u share useful stuff.

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
I think If we try to post some useful document, we will upgrade our level. I will try!

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
hi
i've got 200+ reputation and posts but still havent been promoted to senior member. What else is the criteria?
thanks
-
Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
Seems Administrators are doing promotions manually, as i have also passed limit required to become SENIOR MEMBER, however no change.
regards

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
As a matter of fact, downgrading my profile from senior to member made me participating in this forum less. :(

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password

@all
the criteria in terms of rich (LTE-related) sharing posts.....there is NO specific number of shares (posts), but usually the admin+kamy decide in the end ur eligibility of entering this LTE-zone.......Aubidamax is doing great job...very LTE-oriented shares.....i reckon he's going to be part of this area team very soon..so keep ur shares up. and DON'T DELETE THEM SO FAST :)
THE MORE LTE-STUFF U SHARE.....THE HIGH THE POTENTIAL OF JOINING THEM......NO SPECIFIC NUMBER OF SHARES!
but not clearly enough how many thread/doc/post about LTE to enter the zone..

check "user control panel" right above the page of this forum, you can check positive and negative rep given to you, maybe you don't follow the rule or post something doc which is posted before that the other give you negative rep..

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
the switching from member to senior member, is it automatically done when you reach your criteria???
-
Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
Sometimes, you should ask Super Moderator about your problems. They will help you.

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
Hi all
I think the new rules are very good, especially for users who are actually infiltrators companies.
Our goal is to share knowledge and experiences about the technologies and tools used in the market and not just commercial.
Congratulations to the initiative of the administrators.

Yep, I think it's so difficult to become VIP member, and fairly difficult to become Senior Member.
But I think that you will take more advantage when to be.
Share more to be shared more.

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
Try to do hard work.
Find some useful documents and post them.
Share your knowledge and new training documents.
We will get the senior level. Believe in future.

Lihanbok.

Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
My suggestion is that no of posts should be less. The Quality of post should matter more than the No
-
Re: new rules - becoming a senior member and putting password
Actually the problem is, All posts have equal weight.Logically it shouldn't be so.
If someone is sharing a very good document/experience then he should be getting more points/reputatuion for encouragement otherwise he would also share the common material which we see everyday, just to raise his number of posts & reputation.

i have tons of document and less 30% of them have been read.
personally, i would appreciate more user who help my live opt case rather than doc.

How to evaluate the weight of each post?
I think softwares and tools in this forum have highest weight...
I also agree with tukangoptim's opinion...
