Feature improving CDR, CSSR, MOS and saving energy
Hi Experts,
We applied feature Enhanced BCCH Power Consumption Optimization vendor HW for 100 sites 2G HW and this is result:
- KPI OSS: CDR improving ~30%, CSSR improving ~20%. (file attached)
- Energy saving: 3 KWh/site/day.

+ CDR-2G improving 61.81% from 2.7=>1.03%.
+ RxQual Sub improving 23.53% from 0.62=>0.47.
+ HO/Call improving 32% from 2.68=>1.81.

The Enhanced BCCH Power Consumption Optimization feature reduces the transmit power of non-BCCH timeslots (timeslots 1 to 7) on the BCCH TRX. This feature provides the following functions:
Function 1: reducing the transmit power of idle timeslots among timeslots 1 to 7 on the BCCH TRX
Function 2: performing downlink power control on occupied timeslots among timeslots 1 to 7 on the BCCH TRX
