Tnx.
<CTRL-Z> --> modem/router freeze.
Any idea?
Nope, none.
Try <ESC> instead of CTRL-Z.

Thanks
<esc> --> router freeze too.
I try this before too.
Ok, lets try a step by step approach.
1. issue AT command, result should be OK, which means the connection between the HyperTerminal program and the GSM / GPRS modem works fine.
2. issue the AT+CMGF=1 command, result should be OK, which instruct the GSM / GPRS modem to operate in SMS text mode.
3. issue AT+CMGW="+<input number here>", than hit enter, a ">" sign should be visible, input your message, to finish the message press CTRL-Z. Result should look like +CMGW: 1
4. issue AT+CMGS=1, result should be +CMGS: <a number> and OK.
If any of these commands fail, please let me know.

If the modem does not support text mode, this is going to be a little trickier.

I tried this with 2 different routers.
SMS center is correct (AT+CSCA).
SIM card is correct and (SMS send) working in other modem (e1752).
This router with iplus firmware (Poland) have user interface to sms sending.
