How to Read TP counter RAN 13
Dear All,
There are additional counter in RAN 13
VS.TP.UE.0 (none)
VS.TP.UE.1 (none)
...
...
VS.TP.UE.More55 (none)
VS.EcNo.Mean.TP0 (dB)
VS.EcNo.Mean.TP1 (dB)
...
...
VS.EcNo.Mean.TP.More55 (none)
But I'm bit confused how to read EcNo.Mean, it seem not in dB value.
here is the sample:
Attachment 28773
Need your help, how to read the counter.
Thanks
Re: How to Read TP counter RAN 13
you need to apply mapping as below:
min max Resolution Unit
-24 0 0.5 dB

Hi, I'm bit confuse
Could you explain more detail, and give an example?
Many thanks
Re: How to Read TP counter RAN 13
Okay let say you get Ecno value = 40, then
40+(-24)= 16 dBm. it's incremental by 0.5 db

Hi toppffenders,
i still don't understand what you mean.
you say that we should make a mapping, maybe -24 corresponds with positive value x. And 0 corresponds with positive value y.
Is it like this?? if that so, do you know the value for x and y?
can you enlighten me, please.
Thanks.

Re: How to Read TP counter RAN 13
Hi There;
on RRC Measurement :
Min Value = -24
Max Value =0
Resolution= 0.5
Unit = dB
and from the tracing the range is :
Min Value = 0
Max Value=49
you do the math for the mapping, Hope this help!
