Outgoing Inter-Rat InterCell (2G to UMTS)

Hi all,


Is there any way how to make a dedicated PS 2G Irat to 3G?

In Huawei, the request is shown at indicator Outegoing Inter-Rat Intercell Handover (CMIIW).

I've activated

1. Inter-RAT Out BSC Handover Enable (SET GCELLHOBASIC)
2. Better 3G Cell HO Allowed (SET GCELLHOUTRANTDD/SET GCELLHOUTRANFDD)
3.Qsearch P=7 (SET GCELLCCUTRANSYS)

But seems no request happen. Any idea? Adjacent 2G-3G ok..

Hi! Please check first who controls reselection - mobile station or the network. Then check if all parameters are correct in System Information Type 2quater
or Packet Measurement Order.
