[ASK] How to Optimize Many HO Out Fail at Border BSC (external neigh)

Dear ALL Senior,

I want to ask how to optimize Many HO Out Fail at Border BSC (external neigh) Area? May be there is some to optimize parameter HO at border area....

like as usually, i will give reputation who give best answer..

IF there no is alarm and hardware issue check the following:
check first the CGI if the internal & external is the same ; check also if NCCPERM is permitted.
check also the idle and active List if is defined properly
check also the MSC side if the bsc and msc has same LAC defined

may be you have BCCH clash..

The two BSC is it Same Vendor or Different?

there are same vendor & difference vendor

Is this for all cells or just some cells? cause if only specific cells then it could be hardware or parameter issues if all cells then check also ciphering if they have same ciphering

some cell only not all.. & what do you mean with chipering? may be you can explain to me?

Check if these border cells have high SD usage or congestion, if yes try increasing cell hysteresis..
