power boost Technology

I need to activate pbt feature on 3012 ii Bts (Huawei).
pl anyone share step by step process and material requirment and what are benfet and drawaback of enabling PBT.

Please find in attached PBT DTRU wiring and one typical config.
For BSC config, you have to change TRX property as:

- RF send mode: Power Boost
- RF receive mode: Independent receiver.

couple of things to bear in mind when enabling PBT -

DTRU offeres you only 1 TRX capacity instead of 2 (so if you want 2 TRX capacity, 2nd DTRU will be required)

compared to combined mode (43dBm), power increases a lot (49.xx dBm)...you might need TMA to enhance uplink

Friends, could you please descrive what's PBT? why you are going to use it?
