LOW Throughput on HSDPA AREA

Dear All,

I'm newbie...

How to find the problem Low throughput on HSDPA area?

I 'm using NEMO Analyze to find the problem on DT log files. Usually i'm using CQI. It's work or not? may be there are anything else to find out?

Hello,

low throughput is e2e troubleshooting. Firstly check on the Radio :
1. Make sure the Radio capacity is enough (Radio Load DL is enough), CE is enough, IuB user plane is enough capacity, IuPS user plane capacity is enough.
2. make sure the CQI is good should be >20 or 25
3. Due to HSDPA is shared so, if more than 1 user, the throughput will be shared
4. Make sure you get more than 3.2 Mbps throughput on PDP context message sent by SGSN.
5. If all above is ok, then try to make download test from server to SGSN, then check the speed.
6. Make sure you have internal server to test

Hi RIZAHASAN,

Have u asked your 3g Monitoring people, how many are using on that site or sites? maybe it is congested or many users that's why you have a low throughput.
