Any WiMAX Optimization Engineer out there ? I am also interested in this subject and will probably start a mobile WiMAX optimization project soon. I think it would be beneficial for all of us if we start sharing our knowledge. Because there aren't many engineers who has mastered this.

What exactly you intend to do with "optimization" in WIMAX.
Do you have a real targets to achieve or just make regular troubleshooting for specific cells?

The operator has given some KPI requirements. We need to meet them. The requirements are quite high.

What KPIs were defined? Drive-test based - i.e. Coverage/Quality levels and throughputs collected via drive-test equipment or Performance counters based KPIs?
This is a very important question. Depends on your answer the optimization activity should be designed!!!!

Sorry to reply so late. I was cutoff for sometime.
The KPIs are drive test based. Two types of KPIs are defined - cluster optimization KPIs and single site optimization KPI. How should I plan for the optimization?
