Hi colleagues!
Could you tell me analog of timing advance in WiMax? I need it to know where subscribers are like in GSM networks. Thanks!

"...Observing the Timing Adjust values; this concept is
similar to Timing Advance in GSM networks..."
But in this paper was considered only observing the RSS values as positioning possibilities in wimax networks.
Has anybody more information about "Timing Adjust"? Can we look this parameter in statistical report's from base station (in particular Samsung)??:confused:

In 3G networks like WCDMA it is called "Round-trip delay time" or RTT... If you'll find information about it, plz tell us. It would be very interesting!
