The software with database more of 1000 Antennas, essential for creating .pat file for EDX and ICS.
Some notes....
SR4 is a software program aimed to make the daily work of the antenna systems designers fast and
smooth. Thanks to the new features of release 4, it is possible to create radiating antenna systems projects
faster and easier and to verify in real time any modification.
Antenna systems projects
The SR4 program allows to design and verify VHF and UHF radiating antenna systems in a useful
frequency range between 30 and 30.000 MHz. It allows to compose complex antenna system made of many
elementary antennas (panels, yagi antennas, etc.) and verify the irradiation solid resulting from the whole
system.
The creation of new antenna systems is easy thanks to the Project Wizard menu, which helps the user
in filling the forms, solving first problems.
Signal radiation patterns can be displayed graphically in horizontal and vertical sections, or threedimensionally
(only with complete version). SR4 also allows you to make real time changes to the viewpoint
distance, direction, and angle of inclination, simply by moving the mouse.
What is really special in this version, is the possibility of continuously changing antennas parameters
and, accordingly, their graphic display in real time.
You can see what effects your changes have on the radiating system as soon as you change any
parameters, so that you can quickly and easily optimize them for the best radiation pattern.
For example, if the Geometrical data window and a Horizontal diagram window are displayed, you
can chain them to see in real time the effects of the changes.
With SR4 you can even calculate electromagnetic field strength at any point of the coverage area, and
ascertain the impact of electromagnetic emissions around the transmitting station (only with complete
version).
Compared with the previous version (SRWIN), SR4 has so many new functions that they cannot be
described individually. Let us simply say that the new SR4 combines tremendous calculation power with
simple systems design functions.
Base antenna models
SR4 allows to work on an antenna system project and on an antenna model at the same time.
Each antenna file contains all data concerning the antenna model, including horizontal and vertical
amplitude and phase diagrams at all frequencies in the antenna working band, gain diagram and SWR
diagram.
It is possible to quickly look over all the antenna diagrams at all frequencies in the following way:
Antenna diagrams can be represented in Cartesian or polar format. Data modification (H & V amplitude,
H & V phase) or new data input is as easy as drawing.
It is possible to associate a picture to each antenna model or antenna system project. The picture is
saved as an independent file in BMP format.......manual inside...
