View Full Version : convert SRTM maps to use in ics telecom

dear all

i download maps form http://srtm.csi.cgiar.org/ and export them with global mapper 10 with atdi plugin to .GEO but when open it in ics telecom lat/lon data doesn't appear and jus the elevation data of the map.
can you help he with that.

You need to convert using globalmapper to ascii erdas and then, using ics convert this ascii to .geo.

i make export raster and elevatio--->arc ascii grid
then from ics telecom cnvert ascii to geo

but the same resiult.:(

whats wrong

i tried with 4DMS and with 2FR36 but the same resiult

could it made by atdi plugin? how??

Most reliable way is to use ATDI Map Server, it has native support to convert SRTM files to GEO / SOL.

If you only have small file I can help ... PM me

you have to change the coordinate! try UTM
