As far as i know between capacity and power it is a trade-off.
But this Indonesian researcher (http://www.jaist.ac.jp/profiles/info_e.php?profile_id=534) said he can double capacity and reducing power at the same time. :rolleyes:
He proposed a new large spreading code set with a uniform low cross-correlation to replace our current current pseudo-orthogonal in OFDM system.
Attached pdf have some images showing power ratio reduced and Eb/No improved
and 1 more, this man also proposed block transmission without guard interval.
