ALDENA EMLAB is the best program to create complex antenna sistem in a very simple.The program is better than Antios and AMan.
The program has a Database of 2000 antennas and all users of EDX and ATDI programs can create antenna files .PAT and.ANT.
The program need MED.( large Pass.) to work, must be found. I hope there is someone capable of finding it, and post me and other friends
After install, copy in EMLAB directory the files of updateweb11120.
The Terrain directory is empty. Aldena have only 90mt terrain resolution.The program works, even whitout.Only coverage part don't work without.
But for This EDX and ATDI are better.
I don't use pass.for my post.

hi, a question for every body!! how to make the antenna model that is not present in Emlab database and that is known only some diagram from the datasheet?

You can create an antenna from the diagrams that you have both vertical and horizontal, it is clear that more diagrams you have more accurate is the radiation of the antenna you build.
The program also allows you to build a solid 3d that you will need to export to use it with other programs like ICS Telecom, EDX, Terrapack ACT MATRIX ... etc. ..

How can I make an electromagnetic field previsions with emlab (50,40, 30 meter from antenna system with 10 grade of azimuth ) if I have the same antenna system used for two channel DVB-T (for example 35 and 37). I know how is possible to make a prevision for only one channel(one frequency) not for both at the same time simultaneously. Is possble?

Hi everybody,
I have a question about aldena Emlab:
I have a system formed by three antennas.
Each antennas could work with different frequency, and in each frequency the power supply is different, like also the electrical tilt.

To realize the system, i have to create an entry in the System tab for each frequency and orientation, or is it possible to do in an unique way with only three entries?

OK, but how it is possible to assign different power to each frequency bandwidth of the antenna?
I have for example:
@ 800 MHz ---> 165° orientation and 20 W
@ 900 MHz ---> 50° and 50 W
245° and 70 W
@1800 MHz ---> 50° and 90 W
165° and 70 W
245° and 90 W
@2100 MHz ---> 50° and 70 W
165° and 80 W
245° and 70 W
Each entry has different electrical tilt.

If i create the three systems with the different orientations , how i can assign different powers to each system?
I create a system for each entry, but i don't now if it is correct.

As I say you must create first 4 systems
1) 800 MHz ---> 165° orientation and 20 W ( one antenna)
2) 900 MHz ---> 50° and 50 W 245° and 70 W ( two antennas)
3)1800 MHz ---> 50° and 90 W 165° and 70 W245° and 90 W (three antennas)
4)2100 MHz ---> 50° and 70 W 165° and 80 W 245° and 70 W( three antennas)

then you recalls this systems in one site and check the box add...and now you You created only one system in one site.

For each system I have to consider the total power, and calculate the percentage for each antennas. Right?

Only one more question:
The tilt considered in each system, is mechanical (I've tried looking in the 3D representation)?
If yes, if I want to change the electrical tilt for each antennas, how I can do it?
