Hi Guys,

I have seen posts at finetopix in which many people have shared the tutorials of using Mapbasic. I wonder if anyone in FINETOPIX has tried making tool similar to PlanChecker/Gtool/MCOM/Piano etc.

I was trying myself to do it but i am stuck in making the sectors. I can import the text file and then query the contents in .tab file. If somebody know how to make the sectors through Mapbasic and displaying the neighbors then please share the experience with some guidelines, thanks

You can search the mapinfo forum. I'd once seen the code for drawing sectors in mapbasic discussions there.

The predecessor of the Google group is

http://www.mail-archive.com/mapinfo-l@lists.directionsmag.com/info.html

where you can still find some valuable discussion and resources for your Mapbasic programming
