Dear All Finetopicers,

If Anyone know or having some tutorial how to create Traffic Type & ATM Connection Table for HSDPA,
or able to explain how to configure those stuff above ...

pls share yur knowledge or yur material in this thread ...

actually i really need (wanna learn) bout how to plan & optimized those subject mentioned above by config & reconfig the PCR parameter @ IuB HSDPA/HSUPA/HSPA ... :L

sample attach ... :D

If anyone know ... pls help ... :D
pls share yur knowledge master .... :L

ATM Traffic descrptors summary:
1. TD defined in cps (cells per second) in ATM =Bandwidth required for that specific class.
2. TD type= CBR=Constant Bit Rate for Voice and Video
3. TD type =UBR+= Unidentified Bit rate :defined for PS or HSDPA traffic where u have undefined BW requirement.
MCR :Min assured BW and PCR=Peak cell rate :Max BW avaialble in media.
VCs created for all type of traffic including Sync, signalling.

All CBR +MCRs of VCs should not be greater then the VP size of Media in cps.

Hope this will help.

thanks for the explannation ...

btw do yu have a complete one which explaining those subject above ??
specially who work with NSN equiment (FTIA/FTPB)

n how to separate a group of pcr to each group there ...

a lot of question actually ... :D :D

ATM Traffic Descriptor:p (http://alex1.lmf.e*******.se/#TOP)

An ATM Traffic Descriptor must exist before ATM VP or VC links can be created. The creation of the Traffic Descriptor is described in the OPI Add Traffic Descriptor.
For the VP sublayer the node supports only CBR and QoS class 1. The bandwidth of a VP is defined by the Peak Cell Rate (PCR) in the ATM Traffic Descriptor. The sum of the bandwidth for all VPs under one and the same ATM port must always be less than the bandwidth of the ATM port. That is, the bandwidth of the VPs is restricted by the bandwidth of the physical interface.
For the VC sublayer the node supports CBR, UBR and UBR+ as defined in Table 7. The bandwidth of a VC is defined in the ATM Traffic Descriptor. The sum of the bandwidth for all VCs under one and the same VP must always be less than the bandwidth of the VP. That is, the bandwidth of the VCs is restricted by the bandwidth of the VP.
Table below Traffic Descriptor for the ATM VC
Service Category ATM QoS Class Peak Cell Rate Minimum Desired Cell Rate
CBR 1 or 2 Mandatory Not used
UBR+ 3 Optional for shaping Mandatory
UBR 4 Optional for shaping Not used

For the AAL2 traffic use CBR and QoS Class 2. For the AAL5-based signalling traffic use UBR+ and QoS Class 3. If shaping should not be used for the UBR+ or UBR, the PCR should be set to 0 (which is the default value).
The modification and deletion of Traffic Descriptors are described in the OPI View and Change Traffic Descriptor Properties and OPI Delete Traffic Descriptor.

Hope this will help.
