Dear all friends,
How much fade margin should be considered in a sattelite link to have a good reliability? this link is from a hub station to earth station via GEO satellite and reverse.
Inbound bit rate is 128 Kbps and outbound is 2.5 Mbps.
This link should be compatible with DVBS-2 and DVB-RCS standards.
Can you introduce me a document that contain useful information about reliability in satellite links?

Thanks a lot,

Mohamad
