hi!

Given that U/L Freq is transmitted by MS, it will require less power to reach the BTS...

with increase in freq , greater the freq ->greater the attenuation ... so to send to the same amount of distance with higher freq you will need more power transmitted ...as there is limitation in power transmission from MS therefore Uplink is given lower frequency
