Dear Paolo,

here is the firmware upgrade V8.3-005(signed software).RMP for you:
https://mega.nz/file/AQUzHAxL#0K6FMo2LjqIWzmHGrYM_VoyK1W4RQcMI9NYUdUyCK7o

(https://mega.nz/file/AQUzHAxL#0K6FMo2LjqIWzmHGrYM_VoyK1W4RQcMI9NYUdUyCK7o)After upgrade to v8,3 there is no way to downgrade your radio anymore becouse you got bootloader upgrade too.

(GB special forces have very special FW on their SRM2000: 1651 009 02934, it is above V8.3-005 (1639 019 02933), if you got your radio with this, you can't program it.)

First:
Important!
Always read the RM2 pdf documentations!
It is in there: Sepura RM2 won't work below firmware version 7.

So try upgrade your radio with RM1.

Second:
Always made first the network template for the same FW version or the validity function won't work in the RM.

Have a nice day

Hi Gabor and Starter, thank you very much for .RMP software; Gabor, you are right: i should read the whole documentation of RM2 but i don't know where to begin...! Anyway my version of SRM2000 is 1510 004 00340, if i try with RM1, i start to read TEI, band and some paramenter but then there is a error and doesn't work on. If i want to upgrade, how can i load the V8.3-005 to RM1? And about template, are all in the same FW version.
Thank you to all i hope to help in some way in the future.

kind regards

Top menus - Admin - New softvare vesion
All file formats
Choose V8.3-005
Made network template with v8.3
Made all parametes template to your radio with v8.3
Add your radios TEI to the database
Choose one ISSI
Enable Client
Made programming batch for your radio
Start client
Connect your radio and wait... done, you have one SRM2k with v8.3FW and blank template on it
Done
Please serarch for *.pdf files in your RM1 folder and read the files!

Please do not use the DRP programmer, it is too old, it can handle FW-s up to v6.0.
So: your DRP is too old to upgrade your radios FW to 8.3 and your RM2 is to new, becouse it can't be used for FW-s under v7.
You must use RM1.x

Hello Gabor, thank you very much: your procedure it's working right! Now the SRM2000 is in version 8.3 and working well with other radio of network: thank you again! Now i can use the RM2 without problem. Just only one question: the RM1 need the license from Sepura like the RM2?
Anyway, it's all right in RM2; thanks a lot to Starter, i hope to help you in some way.

Best regards from Italy

Dear Paolo,

Officially all Sepura Radio Managers are licensed by Sepura.
Unofficially you can do it yourself for RM1.
In this case, you should pay attention to the following: To be installed as standalone version and EL version.
For the RM1 Win XP and Win7 x86 are fine.
You can do that, with this:
