Hi ,

please, a little help ...

Is Huawei tool "SmartCare" - a multivendor tool, meaning - is it possible to connect Nokia, E******* on the same "SmartCare" tool ?
Is it planned to have this option in any part of the tool ?

Thanks,
P:)

smartcare is originally aimed at CEM Market, they boasted that they have multi vendor capability.
And they ahve done it somewhere as a trial / for reference.

But widespread adoption never took off....many SP realised that it is nothing but an improvised version of OSS Layer.
Instead of keeping it in OSS, people started as a seprate products and tried to make cash out of it. :-)

yes smartcare system with probe collect data directly from the interfaces(S1-U, gn, gp, gx,gy, Sxa,sxb, etc.) irrespective of the vendor. several operator have multi vendor systems like huawei, nokia, E/// all connected through smartcare.

its basically a CEM tool. So it collects data across platforms (mostly core).

Huawei Discovery is also part of Smartcare Suite now, so you can have E2E analysis as it include radio KPI as well.
