Hi

When I power on a MTM 700 I see the following:

D73.00.36
CP: 14.07

I cannot find what CPS works for 14.07.

It seems all CPS are 1617 at least.

Any ideas....

Very strange.

Help solve the mistry.

For the MTM700 Tetra radio displaying firmware version D73.00.36, the "D" in front of the firmware version indicates that it is a specific version of Development Firmware. Similarly, the CP:14.07 is a development codeplug, which is why the radio may not function correctly if flashed with newer commercial firmware. This development nature of both the firmware and the codeplug explains the difficulties in finding compatible Customer Programming Software (CPS).

To make the MTM700 Tetra radio operational, you would need access to a ******** Factory CPS. This specialized software has the capability to write a complete codeplug to the radio, erase the full flash memory, and reflash an upgrade along with a codeplug that you can create. This process essentially involves reprogramming the radio with a new or compatible set of firmware and codeplug that are suited for your operational requirements.

This approach is necessary because standard CPS versions available for the MTM 700 are not designed to handle development versions of firmware and codeplug, such as D73.00.36 and CP:14.07, respectively. By using the ******** Factory CPS, you can overwrite the development firmware and codeplug with versions that are more suitable for regular use, thus resolving the compatibility issues.

CP 14.13 = MTM700: R73.02.05:Clear R74.02.05 = CPS MR1.16 (R70.37.07).
So i think you need one or two step older CPS than MR1.16.
(MR1.0 = (R70.23.03), MR1.16 = (R70.37.07), MR1.2 = (R70.44.09) )

Gabor, His problem is Development FW and Development CP, there is no way in million years to upgrade those radios with conventional CPS.
