Dear Experts

i have a very basic question!

what is the relation between qrxlevmin in UtranFreqRelation in LTE and qrxlevmin in UtranCell in RNC side ?
they shoud have same value of they can have different value.

for example , in our network is like this :

LTE side : EUtranCellFDD=*,UtranFreqRelation=* : qrxlevmin = -120
3G side : UtranCell : qrxlevmin = -109

Thanks in advance.

It was too obvious ? :)

Means High Priority for an UE to camp in LTE than WCDMA and should not be equal for different RAT's. Correct me if i am wrong.

[EUtranCellFDD] qRxLevMin : Minimum required RSRP for LTE Cell selection
[UtranFreqRelation] qRxLevMin: Minimum required RSCP for 3G Cell reselection while UE camped on LTE network
[UtranCell] qRxLevMin: Minimum required RSCP for 3G Cell selection

They can have different values according to network strategy, but improper setting will result in ping pong and signaling overhead. Usually cell selection and reselection parameters are set same as each other. For better LTE share, recommended to set [UtranFreqRelation] qRxLevMin greater than [EUtranCellFDD] qRxLevMin. In addition, 3G side parameter should be considered for LTE cell reselection. Should take into account A2CriticalThresholdRsrp and other related parameters as well.
