I don't know the answer, but according to your number, this is a regular rs232 cable.

yes, I recommend get a tester and checking that on pin 5 is GND, then most likely pin 2-3 - RX-TX.

in any case, you won't be able to find RS232 in 2021 year.
these laptops were discontinued 10 years ago.

you will have to buy a USB-RS232 - and two DB9F or one DB9F-DB9F connector.
or replace 800-441 with any straight rs232 cable and you don't need 800-441 cable.

maybe someone can tell you more.
in my practice, this is usually an RS232 on an RJ45 connector.

To add to that, per the parts number picture, this is a standard RS-232 NULL Serial Cable (DB9-F - DB9-F on both ends).
So the output of the Antrisu port is a should be DB9-M*, to connect to your PC and use a Terminal Emulation Program (Hyperterminal):

- PC's COMx Port (you may have a PC that still have a COMx Serial DB9/25M port, or you'll need a USB-RS232 adaptor (Amazon or Ebay, make sure you get the 5V, not the LVTTL - Low Voltage TTL). The connection on the USB-RS232 or PC COMx port is DB9-M.
- You can just connect the 800-441 cable directly between the PC's COMx port (DB9-M) and the Antrisu *(should be DB9-M).
*If the Antritsu is not DB9-M, you will need a "Gender Changer", essentially a Plug that convert M-F)

Note, since this is a NULL cable configuration, the pin out may be reverse from a STRAIGHT Serial Cable.
Google NULL Modem Serial Cable Pin out.

Most older equipment uses this to console into the device to configure the device. To talk to the Anritsu, you will need a terminal program (Hyperterminal) and set the BAUD rate, Parity, Stop Bit accordingly, Usually 9600/N/8/1

What Antritsu Equipment are you connecting to?

PM me and I may have a cable laying around.
