missing neighbour

During drive test, I saw H/O failure between two sites. But when I checked, I found Neighbour relation is not defined between these two sites.Then why h/O fails is shown in events. My friend told me,tems shows missing neighbour as H/O fails. Is it true. Kindly explain me.

have you check the neighbour list both of them?
you must entry site ID in each neighbour list site.

- check co-channel
- check COMB/NCOMB mode (some E/// RBS)
- neighbour list
and sectors A -> B - it's handover (it isn't intracell handover IMHO)

Did you check that you don't have CO BCCH/BSIC .

there is no co channel issue, it is defined in neighbour list.

Dear, I want to ask one thing that H/O fail shown in tems inverstigation are actually defined in neighbour list or they may be missing neighbour. If missing neighbour, then how can i identify between missing neighbour and actually H/O fail.

my friend if the neighbor is not defined in the neighbor list it will not attempt ho to that cell, so if there is ho failure to that cell it shows maybe there are some other missings but not that attepmted one, or maybe some hardware problem(for exapmle if bcch carrier is showing good rxlev it will attempt ho but if there is problem with the tch trx and call goes to that problematic trx than it will fail)
