I ran the install again and it appears to have repaired the issue. Looks good.

Nice. I had the same problem before, I contacted support team and they replied said "it may happen at the first time you install Postgresql database server, reinstallation could fix the problem".

I'm having issues to run the application.

The manual says:

"PostgreSQL is required and will be installed as part of installation routine. When prompted to select components during PostgreSQL installation , make sure to deselect “Stack Builder”. When prompted, you can set the password and port as “focus” and 5432 ****. For all other PostgreSQL settings, keep the default settings (recommended)."

But it did not work.

when you install your postgresql database, did you use other password for super user "postgres".
anyway, try to type in the password for user name "postgres" again, it shall work.
