MTP850S Bricked

Hello,

i have an MTP850S here, which is completly death (Blackscreen). I tried Flashing it but it will not Accept anything in CPS 7.30 or 40. I couldnt install the Depot Patch (wont start no error nothing).

Is there any way to Flash it "Manually"? It gets recognized over the Serial Cable in CPS but with an Yellow Exclamation mark and there is no Action available.

Thanks for your Answer. I don't have an working Radio (Only an MTP850 without S). Can anybody send me an .bin file for it?

Radio is Fixed. I did an Software Update in Depot and now it works. Thank you all Very Much for your Help.

I strongly recommend all tetra users to use the following version CPS Plus (Depot) software.
Can be used up to version 14.2.1a RPK firmware files.
No need to install, just unpack and use (go to the BIN folder and start the CPSPlus exe).
All you have to do is install a driver (below FW 6500 old driver above, new driver).
It contains many firmware files (up to RPK14.2.1a FW8830).
Tested from Windows XP to Windows 10.

Hello Gabor,

Thank you for the posting depot. However when I run Cpsplus.exe, I get an error that "application has encountered an error. If you continue to get this message. please contact customer service". Perhaps the software require a full install rather than executing from Cpsplus.exe?

By the way, can you share Mr5.14.10c , latest CPS for MTP850?

I'm tested it on Windows XP SP3 and on Windows 10 Pro X64 without any problem.
If you have any other tetra CPS on the same computer it wont run.
Unpack the cps and search for *.rpk with total commander.
MR5.14.10c is not the latest rpk file for your modell.
For the "normal" MTP850 R13:
MR 5.14.10c FW8624 (it is in the tetra CPS Plus depot package)
MR 5.14.10f FW8661 (it is in the tetra CPS Plus depot package) and
MR 5.14.10g FW8663

Turns out after I moved the file to the C:\ rather than my parallel directory \\Mac\\Download. It worked like a charm!
