Dear All,

Just try open discuss for QGIS
As alternative MapInfo and very useful and the most important thing is FREE

U can try here
https://qgis.org/

The benefits of QGIS :
1. Open Source, free
2. Lighter than MapInfo (no RAM Sucker)
3. U can add Google Satelite as a layer (as BaseMap, it's expensive feature in MapInfo), so very useful for Optimization Analyzing
4. More Addons and Free..still trying one by one
5. Can import KMZ file, .TAB File, Esri File and etc (Like Mapinfo translator)..i like this menu specially import KMZ File :)

The lacks :
1. Still new for me :) so need more practices for familiar with menu, tools and Addons
2. Still looking for LIke "COmmon" tools, GMON, or SiteSee Addons

Its good with the Map base but very buggy. I have used it for awhile & had many issues with sudden crashes. Unreliable in my opinion.

Hello,

Yes it is nice tool and Free! Have you been able to upload the network information (site/cell) into QGIS? Is yes would you please share how and the file you have used? I suppose it should be a tab delimited txt file.
I have foud this information regarding the NR check. But U canĀ“t use it since I do not have the network loaded.
