Job Description
Develop or expand test and repair capabilities on systems such as:
o Base Stations such as LTE, UMTS, 5G for OEM’s such as E*******, Nokia, ALU,
Samsung
o Microwave including licensed and unlicensed for OEM’s such as ALU, E*******,
Exalt
o DAS and Small Cell for OEM’s such as Corning, CommScope, TE
o Other platforms and systems as required
Research via on-line sources, manuals and customer conversations to determine resources
required for new development
Document required resources, equipment, tools, test sets, parts needed for new test/repair
development
Participate in sourcing required equipment
Plan and build test beds and/or bench top test platforms
Develop and publish test and repair procedures
Train technicians on new product testing and repair procedures
Enhance and improve existing testing/repair procedures
Assist with production repairs as needed for overflow assistance
Provide reports on progress, challenges, completion dates, etc...
Participate in regularly scheduled review meetings
Able to safely lift units weighing 50 – 60 pounds on a regular basis and assist with moving
equipment weighing over 100 pounds as needed
Other duties as assigned
