It may depend on different operator. such as CMCC uses TDS as 3G and will shut down 3G first while CU will shut down 2G and keep WCDMA.

One more thing, does someone has a wordwide 2/3G shut down schedule? such as time of VZW to shut down the CDMA.

All Australian Operators have shut down 2G, while in Middle east most of the Operators are keeping 2G for voice and shutting down 3G.Depends upon the re-use advantage of the band.
