there are some document about test UE released by Anite , you can check it

https://mega.nz/#!TEgUlSbK!85EBKCdPOFx5NCLJo429WXwUzpkH0UT0wTuAWZTRpuU

However, the supported band is decided by operator. You' d better to double confirm.
Or you can focus on samsung UE, it is easier to find official ROM of other region whose band/ feature may be what you need.

2.
In NO8.5.2 it has a new feature ,the description is here. Complete message in the release note.

NATA introduces option for data testing with non-rooted, commercial Android phones

Nemo Outdoor 8.52 introduces a new capability to support data testing with one commercial, non-rooted
Android phone at time. The phone doesn’t need to have Nemo firmware to run the data tests. Supported
protocols are FTP(s), HTTP(s), Iperf 3.0 and Ping. Customer will benefit with quick ability to test and try
different terminals. Testing is made by connecting one device at time to Nemo Outdoor using USB cable.
To get this functionality, customer don’t need to purchase Nemo firmware for the phone but just need a
licensing option for the Nemo Outdoor software. “Nemo Active Testing
Application for commercial, non-rooted phones”. It is an Outdoor handler that enable connecting to one
commercial Android phone without need for special firmware or IMEI based licensing

And in my experience, if you using a samsung UE , you can try *#0808# to check the usb setting is on/off.
If it is enable, you can just change the setting , install samsung ADB and connect the UE to NEMO even you don't have this feature.
But it is not recommended to connect multi UE by this method. Without NATA/(Nemo media router) the data throughput will be affected.

If you want a commercial UE then the Pixel 3 or Essential Phones are the only phones sold out of Japan afaik that can do B42. You might also be able to use a Huawei FWA CPE with Genex. There are also some testing UEs that the vendors sell that can do these bands.

"You might also be able to use a Huawei FWA CPE with Genex." How can I setup GENEX to use the CPE via LAN ? (CPE only has LAN interface)Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply and the documents. I have a Huawei E5776s B42 device that got bricked after some firmware update downloaded from the internet. Is there any possibility to make this device work again ?
