Dear Admin,

Recently something happened with finetopix.
In Internet Explorer, the webpage looks slightly different than before. Mozilla Firefox fails to open it at all.
When I enter my password, I see all characters. Moreover, the site doesn't accept it.
However, everything is OK, if I use Tor Browser.
Any ideas?

Thank you in advance!

Geza has already been warned about both the problem of access and password and formatting problems. The problems arose after the last forum reboot. zeuscane

Thanks a lot!
I can log in now, but the button "Thank for this post" doesn't work.

I tried the latest version of it but no luck.
May be these issues are caused by my provider/country (since finetopix works well via Tor Browser)?..

Not only formatting.
Google Chrome says that the site tries to load some scripts from unauthenticated sources. This is the main problem.
IE and Firefox still fail to log in.

I didn't notice any problems.
chrome "Версия 75.0.3770.100 (Официальная сборка), (64 бит)"

triple click, thanks + helpful + rep, for me - "never" worked,
only thanks + helpful worked for me. for rep - said alredy given.
but it seemed to me that in a different sequence everything works.

but i'm also sysamin, and life is so short,
I'm already grateful for hosting and for the resource.

p.s. oh, i'm wrong. Thanks stop work.

I think the problem is due to the switch to https of the forum.
In fact if I turn off https I can handle thank you and formatting .

As far as I can tell the main problem is that resources (mainly javascripts), are loaded through "http" while the [main] pages are loaded through "https". The browsers, for security reasons, will complain this "mixed" mode of page loading and prevent the download of the required resources.
cfr. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Security/Mixed_content?utm_source=mozilla&utm_medium=firefox-console-errors&utm_campaign=default
When a user visits a page served over HTTPS, their connection with the web server is encrypted with TLS and is therefore safeguarded from most sniffers and man-in-the-middle attacks. An HTTPS page that includes content fetched using cleartext HTTP is called a mixed content page. Pages like this are only partially encrypted, leaving the unencrypted content accessible to sniffers and man-in-the-middle attackers. That leaves the pages unsafe. If you can configure the webserver to serve also *.js (and other resources) through https, that might do the trick :) Regards, Tony

In Firefox, you can disable https.
You have to go to the address bar and click on the padlock and a window will open with the connection item, choose Temporarily disable protection.
The forum will work as before and all features will be available.

Hi Guys,
Sorry for late response

The issues of https update should be resolved now, the root cause of the issue is some configurations and steps missed and now is fixed.

BR,
GEZA

Some pages such as the main page still have problems such as the page https://www.finetopix.com/forum.php, while the page https://www.finetopix.com/search.php?do=getnew&contenttype = vBForum_Post works.
