Samsung S7 Not Working with TEMS

Hi Dears,

Samsung has made a security update on S6 and S7 a week ago. This update has disabled the measurement on S7 that we are using with TEMS investigation.

Just to confirm did anyone face same problem?

You need to prevent any update to phone OTA, this is the only way to avoid such a problem, once it occurs, nothing can be done.

RTFM. TEMS documentation mentions that for Android, updates are disabled and that the user should not update, otherwise diagnostic port can be disabled. If you need to do an update, than you should get InTouch with your TEMS support. Sad to hear that you didn't know.

It is not an FW auto update! this can be disabled from the phone menu, here We are talking about Samsung Pop Up message that Security Update needs to be performed, and many people click OK without thinking, and that is the end.
