Hello,

What are the possible reasons for Low Data Throughput in 4G if RSRP & SINR/CINR is good?

How to optimize it?

Please suggest n support.

You need to look at the distribution of the CQI, to Make the drive tests for RSRQ. If there are low modulation ( QPSK), then optimization is needed

Hi,

You can check many things.

1) RB allocation. How many RB are used for DL/UL.
2) MCS/Modulation scheme.
3) Distribution of Thrp vs CQI? Do you have higher Thrp for higher CQIs? Or there is a ceiling?
4) Frame usage.
5) MIMO usage.

Post your findings and we can discuss further.

Good afternoon, Blaxian!
Q: Is it a problem of Low Data Throughput in the entire 4G network or is there a problem with one LTE base station?
With, great respect, Slava

A no of factors could influence 4G throughput:
a. size of cell (macros have lower throughput than micros)
b. MCS used
c. RSRQ value
d. Loading and interference from adjacent cells
e. Weak signals
f. UE capability
g. Scheduling technique (round robin, C/I or prop fair)
