Hi all!

I am looking for EADS TETRA guru. Are you here? A few questions to you:

1. Is there an service commands / engineering menu please (FW version, active cell info, freqs, etc.)?
2. Is there any SW/FW compatibility matrix? Because I noticed that some newer TPT can't read older radios.
3. How about any RC-xx band designator? Because I stick with some strage situation when sticker on my radio doesn't match designator in Phone info.
4. Some other things (come later).

My THR880i RC-10 (accordingly to the silver sticker inside the radio), but box says TETRA 450 (and its actually 450-470 MHz). Box is genuine with TEI matches. I have a few of these radios all new in box and they are all the same.

A few more questions please.

Any pros and cons of using FPS-8 or FPS-10? From what I see, FPS-10 model requires Smart Card to work. But FPS-8 requires only .ini file to activate. I think that both activations is linked to particular FPS device, and will work only with it.

1. Which model is more ham-friendly, 8 or 10? And why?
2. Is it possible to get/generate .ini file for FPS-8 by some unofficial method?
3. Are there any chances to get service cable schematics (RJ-45 to THR880i)? It must include 2 wires with flashing voltage.

Hi all!

Again looking for EADS guru!

Have THR880i with 5.24-1 software. Radio sees no DMO repeater when programmed appropriately (there is no repeater "in range" indication). When transmit from terminal, it shows [T] icon and transmits in Ms-Ms mode (radio-to-radio DMO, but radio to DMO-RPT):

When terminal listens to the repeater, it receives voice well and shows [R] icon:

Finally all looks like terminal can't initiate outgoing call to the repeater.

More info:

- MCC/MNC matches to the repeater (but there are no restrictions set at the repeater, so MNC/MNC can be any other)
- "DM-REP supported" enabled in DMO Control of terminal
- Before TX, terminal is allowed to receive repeater's beacon a few times (just to be sure)
- AIE is set to Clear at terminal
- Radio is 450-470MHz and working in its factory range (not out of band)
- Programming has done by TPT 2010.08.64.2
- Repeater vendor doesn't matter, terminal fails in all cases

All air parameters of terminal looks fine in TETRA Demodulator (plugin for SDR#).

Any ideas, guys?

Dear AnRegs,

i have the same issue, but only with ******** DMO-repeater.
Cleartone, Sepura works fine.

Another issue with my THR-880(i):
won't receive anything from ******** terminals.

I think it is frimware problem, becouse my THR-9 is ok (totally same programming).
It is time upgrade the firmware (but how end where?)
Teher is FW V7.93-1 for the THR880 series from 05.2018!

(My programming software for the terminals: TPT 2009.20.53.7 and standalone version 2012.50.0000.49146, ITSI HL15.16-06)

Okay, good to know.

In my case, it doesn't work for SEPURA SRG repeater. Don't have any ******** repeater to try.

Do you have access to any EADS firmware? I have almost all necessary hardware to perform upgrade and probably can do it.

Nokia EADS Nokia TMR880 DMO

Good night I need help for the Nokia devices I need the Nokia Radio TMR880 Setup Software and the RIB programming cable,how to mount a cable . How to program the TMR880 to operate in Direct Mode,I can not program my two radios, someone know the code to access the extended level of programming?

Diffulty setting the TMR880 radio to operate in Direct Mode (DMO) and password of acesso level EADS does not provide technical support,information and acessories.

Can someone help me?
