UL Interference / RTWP Simulation KML

I've seen UL Interference / RTWP Simulation KML with customer
which looks perfect for studies and locating Interference locations and very excellent for visualization and presentation

DO you have any idea which tool could generate it?

I couldn't get a copy of customer KML file
but recently I've seen similar study in one report

Output is looks like below snapshot

It is very simple , Simply thematic you cells based on region and for RTWP value . I have done it before too

I think you mean thematic by Grid
I test it but the result was bad

can you show the setting you have used to generate your RTWP plot

yes exactly it is Grid thematic . just play with the parameter inside it gives a result as you desire eventually . I tried it several years ago also

it has been done with below function in Mapinfo

but it has never gave me good output

i write a simple PPT to show how to set grid

or if your data is many point with long /lat

you can try following procedure to translate all point into polygon and using thematic map to express


1. create point


2. open mapbsic window : In [option] sheet


3. type update ABC set obj=MBR(buffer(obj,12,XX,"m") )


## XX= half value of min distance between two point
## ABC = tab file name

I follow your PPT the result is better but still one problem
I couldn't see interference RTWP values on the MAP
I guess it's because inflection values didn't update with me legend ranges as shown below [Any suggestions?]

=> you mean you want to see the value when your point somewhere? If yes , the grid thematic should not support this, it only have color

no my friend,
I mean my table contains RTWP values of -87.7 and should be displayed in Red based on my configured legend
but Grid Map keep displaying only Blue colors

BC your max value is -99.89, see the yellow mark, so you need to modify the range

but you say you have RTWP values of -87.7 in your table, i guess the boundary may be wrong. check it

I mean what counters do you use as input as so far I haven't seen any counters having lat/long in them.

We are using RTWP counter
and we have Lat/ Long for each cell
