Band Lock Sony Xperia Z5 (E6653)

Hello all,

I'have a Sony Z5 phone (E6653) connected to TEMS Investigation 19. The UE works fine, however I'm unable to lock it to a specific band. The band lock window appears blank, as shown in the picture:

Does anybody know some alternative (for instance, a hidden code or a specific app) to lock it to a specific band? Cannot use TEMS Pocket, since enabling Pocket prevents Investigation from recognizing the phone

Reinstall ODM in Mobile will fix the issue.

Sadly no, reinstalling ODM didnt work.
Best way would be a phone code (Like *#2263*# we can use in some samsung phones), but I haven’t found any code like that.

What are you trying. Band lock or RAT lock. Usually band lock will be done on scanner & RAT lock on phones.

Both RAT and Band lock for UE. Working on a 850/1900 UMTS Network and customer needs separate drive tests per band.

New update for Z5: Band lock and RAT lock not working when you enable USB Connectivity in MTP and enable USB Tethering

Solution: Enable USB Connectivity in MSC, and no enable USB Tethering. You will need a special driver for the settings

I installed some "Engineering Drivers" for Z5, but still need to enable tethering for TEMS to recognize my phone.

By the way, the app I wrote about in my previous e-mail did not work. Meaning, it can lock the UE per band, but when we open the app TEMS won't report any measurements from the UE.

Hello all, just a quick update: the drivers from loihut are the same I was previously using. TEMS recognizes the phone and shows measurements, however still cannot perform Band Lock.
