#2: Setup the software, run, set your language, restart it, then close it.


#3: Download the Depotpatch for TetraCPSPlus R07.30.09.30

#4: Copy the files into the bin folder of your TetraCPSPlus R07.30.09.30 and run the CPSPlus.exe
You can use it for regular and depot CPS.

If your windows font size is not correct (Open display settings, adjust the font size, set it to 100%) you get an error and wont work.

Now tested and working fine. (OP sys: Windows 10 Pro X64, Transceiver: ******** MTP-850S OPTA BSI TEA-2)

If your display font size is over 100% won't work.
If you have another CPS Plus on your PC, same problem.
Corrigate this and would work.
After that reinstall CPS Plus, later install Depot files.
Done.

Hello, surely you have some wrong file replaced.
First, Once it is installed and you see that the CPS works, I recommend that you copy the current files into a folder. (So if the old ones fail and you do not have to install it again)
Second, I assured you copied all the files, and all have replaced the current ones.
Third, be sure to have the "Microsoft Visual C ++ 2015" installed.

In principle following these steps would have to work.

Where I can not get here is to check if the TEA-2 works. I do not find the window to know. So, if I said anything wrong, I apologize.

So, I would like to update the firmware to a TEA2 version, and I would like to know how to encrypt a DMO conversation between both.

I have read that loading the same kvl file in the two radios with a previously TEA2-firmware updated.

Which programme do need to update the firmware, and where can I get this TEA2-firmware? So, I would like to know, where can I get a generic kvl and how to upload it? Please if you can give me a basic steps I will be eternally grateful.

Hello! I need your help !!! I have a ******** MTM 800e M80PCS ... 380 at 430 mhz, R17.000.8195. that gave problem. When I tried to update the codeplu's code from the radio, I made a mistake with the codeplug version of the panel, with the brick version ... and after several unsuccessful attempts, I clicked DELETE MEMORY ... and now the radio will not turn on anymore (not flashing in programming mode) ... I have the serial data cable rs 232, model FKN 8517 A. Could it be possible to recover the radio with this data cable ??? What would be the KERNEL that I need to detect the radio in RS 232 ??? can anybody help me? I will be forever grateful !!!

The 'special Kernel' file is only required for Freon radios (MTP3000/6000/8000 and MTM5000) for older generation radios like MTH800 it's not required.

You just need the HLN9636 cable (or equivalent) to restore radio, it's important to restore original CP to get the correct tuning datas.

If you check the Mot0rola Tetra FW matrix, for the "regular" MTM-800E NGCH the latest FW is R14 CP6977 SW8494 and for the TX unit R17 CP8476 SW8495, SW packace name is MR 5.14.10j. No support for this legacy radio after that.
Or is your radio German BOS BSI E2EE TEA2 special version?

The worst of all is that many people ask for "FREE" software that they use for commercial activities.

Most of the programming softwares are free, at least, for dealers. Often, manufacturers do apply fee for media support (CD/DVD) or for licensing in few cases.
I don't think people are comming here to pay for softwares....

Most of people are coming here to find help with a specified file, that's not bad in itself...
If they usually come here or in others places, that's because they don't have access to files, so expecting them to share is a pure dream ;-)

I don't remember to have never seen any "high-value and rare softwares" yet on this board, only usual stuff available elsewhere too ! But it's a very nice place to share info and knowledge/files !

I agree with your earlier post and the sharing of knowledge and experience is key.

Some people have to learn the hard way and ultimately it could cost them their radio if they brick them.
