Iphone 8 vs S7 Throughput Difference live test

Hi Experts,

we have L17Q3 E// L1800+2100 [20+10Mhz], NW, during live testing in one hot spot covered by indoor having ideal radio conditions. S7 showed max 75 mbps DL throughput while IPhone in same condition showed up to 105Mbps.

in order to remove doubts we did repeat test several times and concluded there exist difference between two mobiles.
Apparently there is no difference as both are CA capable, 64QAM, 2x2 MiMO

do anyone experience same, I shall really appreciate if you can shed light on it.

Do you have 256QAM enabled on the network? The iPhone8 is 256QAM capable, but the Samsung S7 is not (except for US and Korean variant).

Can you give the source, that tells the iPhone 8 can do 4x4? Cause the information i got, is that it can do CA up to 4 CC, but only 2x2.

you are right , i judged that it support based on maximum speed and category , but other source mentioning clearly that it lack this capability

Experts lets be focused, as I mentioned and I do repeat.

4X4 MiMO isn't supported in our NW, 256QAM isn't activated yet.
Do we really have difference in both mobiles in processing capability i.e chipset (only doubt) what else??

Could you monitor for the two mobiles what were the PCC band (was it the same for both or was it different)? Did CA work (meaning you had PCC and SCC)? Are the SIM profiles provisioned with the same profile? Quess you have a diffrent APN for APPLE than for other Vendors? Many questions, but relevant...

Dear Pathloss,
Surely I was checked and CA functionality was quite evident. SIM profiles wasn't an issue as we did swap SIMs between S7 & Iphone8.
APNs are same throughout NW.

S7 in a case had problems with CA when transmission quality changed like from T2-T3-T4
When it was fixed it didn't had problems.

Check if this is the case from you logs.
