Dears
Any trial from your side done on feature in Huawei RAN17.1 called "TCP Proxy" which tend to improve the latency and user speed.As couple of tests done to understand where have the improvement, and what till now concluded this feature looks improve the control plane latency.Many test done on Ookla,testmy which shows slight change while the measurement captured on WNG tool shows significant improvement .

SET UDPUCFGDATA: RsvdPara3=16803036;
SET UL2RSVPARA: RSVU32PARA2=64.
And do you confirm throughput enhancement via Huawei KPIs ?

I'm going to test this feature in my network. After studying the description, I found some interesting counters; please let me know if the values of your network are like mine:
VS.PS.DLfirstPacket.RttDelay.Mean

To get the counters you must run first:
SET UDPUCFGDATA:OPTIMIZATIONSWITCH=UP_MAINT_STAT_COUNT_SWITCH-0;
SET UL2RSVPARA:RSVSWITCH0=RESERVED_SWITCH_0_BIT9-1;
SET UL2RSVPARA:RSVU8PARA5=10;
SET UDPUCFGDATA:OMSWITCH=TCPPROXY_OM_ENH_SWITCH-1;

After activating the feature, no remarkable improvement in HSDPA throughput or RTT delay.
Please to explain how to confirm measurement by other means

as far as I know, improvement should be detected from Smart care SEQanalyst KQI - not form normal Radio KPI

Ratio of downlink TCP traffic in the initial transmission stage = VS.PS.TCP.InitStage.DLTraffic(BSC6900,BSC6910)/VS.PS.DLMeanThroughput.TCPTransfer.TotalBytes(BSC6900,BSC6910) x 100%
Ratio of initial downlink traffic over a TCP connection with an initial CWND size greater than 8 MSS = VS.PS.TCP.InitStage.DLTraffic.Cwnd.More8(BSC6900,BSC6910)/VS.PS.TCP.InitStage.DLTraffic(BSC6900,BSC6910) x 100%

Throughput don't depend on Huawei KPI as it is average measurement per time, using WNG tool from ALU to measure user latency and throughput.

I didnot see this KPI because time granularity is not real KPI. this figure after activation the feature?

Well what in my mind that may help is in Tems instigation see the layer 3 message measure the time between RRC connection request to Activate PDP context .

Hi,
I'm still in the planning phase (my 3G network is RAN18).
I just showed my manager @RF engineer picture to catch his attention. In my network we have better throughput that the competition, however we are ~100ms up in terms of latency.
Right now latency is pretty much a trending topic :)

It is not tool , complete solution of probes , that why not sharing , use Wireshark to check your throughput and latency it probably give you infications.
