Hi,
I would like to connect my Samsung S7 EDGE to a PC running QPST and QXDM.
I have installed the standard USB Samsung Driver, and the QPST can't recognise the Qualcomm Diagnostic Interface.

Could somebody help me...

Thanks in advance, Max

Probably your S7 edge has samsung exynos octa chipset so qualcomm software will not recognize it.

Hi,
thanks for the answer... I confirm, the S7 I'm using has Exynos 8 Core (8890) chipset.

In this case there is no way to enable the trace features?

Thanks, Best Regards, Max

I read that it can be connected to tems investigation 17.2.5 and above (with proper license) and most likely it is possible to get traces, but I don't know how.
I can confirm only that *#0011# menu is working on S7.

Regards!

yea, Samsung S7 EDGE - has a lot of models SM-G935* with different CPU.

some model use Snapdragon 820, other Exynos 8890.

https://www.techwalls.com/samsung-galaxy-s7-edge-model-numbers-differences/

but, Qualcomm QXDM only support Qualcomm CPU, so need check the model first.

Thank you carver,

Does anyone know, please?
Is there any tool for tracing Exynos 8890 chipset?
