Hello everyone,
I'am having intermittently SCTP Link Disconnection with this alarm: "SCT Link Fault" on a NodeB (BTS3902E Huawei).
We have this Issue few days after activating the 2G bts( BTS3900E). these two are connected to a RTN905 equipement( Port 1:2G, Port 2:3G).
During disconnection time, i can ping the Gateway but not the BSC adress.

some ideas??

SCTP link fault occurs when a transmission fluctuation occurs and affects the signalling link of the nodeB, it affects nodeB's backhauled via MW more, if it occurs regularly then you may want your Tx team to check the alignment og the MW links involved.
NB: the problem might come from a remote hop

we checked the Transmission link, receved power and tx power are consistent with the engineering parametters

check once again
