Dear Bros,

Is there any coverage difference between 1.4MHz LTE and 10MHz LTE in same band?

What about RS power?

What about RS power?

I have no idea about RS power.

No change in coverage, only you have to keep CFI to 4 for proper signalling.

Hi

We don't expect any different respect on the coverage due the coverage is relative with the frequency band. The only difference 1.4 and 10MHz is the difference of carriers or Resource Blocks

If you want to increase coverage you can use Power Boosting in the Reference Signals. I recommend to use CFI in a dinamic way to avoid bottleneck in the control resource

Hope my answer help you

coverage will remain the same if you maintain same power spectral density, say for 5MHz bw you use 40w radio then to keep same PSD you have to use 80W for 10MHz. provided that both the BWs are in the same freq band.

Correct. In case you increase your BW, you will need aswell to increase your Power, else you will lose some coverage.
RS Power Boosing is not a real option in case a MNO decides to increase the available BW.

this may clear doubt that BW does not affect coverage.

hhi,,
Agree,, coverage depend on RS signal (based on BW and Pwr RRU) but you must make sure Port antenna too,, ho much port antena for TX..

Well, go check. Your wrong it does. Just change the number of RB in your excel and lock what happens with the RSRP value.

Your explanation is much clearer I phrased wrongly. PA needs to be upgraded to keep coverage intact.
