The TEMS™ Portfolio has been leading the network testing market for almost 25-years, helping operators, service companies and regulators around the world to better understand and improve the performance of the wireless services that we all rely on. Today we are excited to share with you that Ascom has signed an agreement to divest its Network Testing division and TEMS™ Portfolio to InfoVista (www.infovista.com).
InfoVista is a leading provider of cost-effective network performance orchestration solutions, and our combined offering will provide customers around the globe with an even more comprehensive portfolio for managing their network performance. Together, the offering covers network planning, testing, monitoring and optimization solutions for fixed and mobile networks.
This transaction is fully in line with Ascom’s strategy to transform into a Healthcare ICT company. Ascom believes that the combination of InfoVista and Network Testing (TEMS) represents an excellent strategic fit as the two companies have extensive knowledge of the wireless market based on their long history, are deeply committed to developing solutions for the industry’s ever-changing needs, and already today serve many of the same customers.
The transaction is expected to close at the end of Q3 or early in Q4. Until that time, we will continue to service our customers and partners as in the past. As we thereafter start to rollout the new organization we will keep you updated of our progress.
