what i meant with soft copy is not in a file but rather in an electronic format of ibwave training manual. I got this as part of my certification doc.

Do you know mean that you have an executable file of the training manual? Have you installed the training manual software on your computer? If you have installed the software then its very likely that you might find pdf of the manuals in the installation drive. If not pdfs then another format I can think of is chm file.
