How to stop chatty apps from PC

Hi Guys,

I want to keep the UE in idle mode for a long time for a testing but certain apps and processes in the PC is chatty and moving the UE to Connected. Is there any firewalls I can use to keep it in Idle?

Describe, please your problem in details.
You can`t keep your device in idle mode as much time as you wish because this is network driven process also (periodical network attach timer and cell reselection procedure).

Can you just disable packet data in UE?
What is OS in UE? I use NoRoot Firewall on my Android. It creates VPN to your local IP (127.0.0.1) and can totally block network sessions any application you want:
