dear experts,
We are experiencing high DNS resolution page times in HSPA, any known parameters and factors affected to improve such latency?
Your advices is hig appreciated.
thanks.

PCH/Fach to DCH transition parameters can cause a delay since DNS query is a small packet and it will be carried over RACH/FACH if your transition settings are too relaxed.

By the way, triggering faster upswitch to DCH can be done with small threshold for event 4a or even better some feature to trigger direct PCH to HSPA transition
