Hi Islam ;

Did you check the DT L 3 and analyze it ?
Did you check the cause of drop call ?
Did you check the Ul,DL interference ?
Did you check the HS license ?
Is it caused by a single UE ?
in GEPH you can find all the tools and counters that you need

Hi,

Please do not respond if you are not sure about the answers and try to avoid giving general comments !

how he can check cause of HS drop call ?
How he can check DL interference ?
What is the relation between HS license and HS DCR?!
How in GPEH he can find counters?!!

Cheers

Dear electron,

Hi,

As a rule of thumb UL RSSI and channel switching having major impact in DCR in WCDMA. Whatever activity you perform to reduce UL RSSI or channel switching it will improve DCR. Based on my experiences one of the most important factors for PS retainability is cell coverage. For example "RLC unrecoverable error" having highest contribution for drops while making trace analysis. There are some more reasons which are in minority of the reasons for example (IFLS path loss tuning, transmission related issue, BLER target tuning for OLPC, etc) if required could be checked and discussed in details.

Please be more specific about scale of problem . Is it global or cell level issue then i could help in a better way .

Cheers

Dear electron,
thank you for your reply, I want to know how should I think if the problem on one cell and if it on whole the site?
