Found it out by myself.:)

The frequency is only checked during input through the Native Programmer.

So you can either patch the codeplug, which is not encrypted, using a Hex-Editor or export the Group list into a CSV-file (actually TAB-separated) and edit that with a normal texteditor. If you import the changed CSV-file or use the patched codeplug you are done.

Works like a charm.

Hi,

Native Programmer has a cool .ini file (settings) and you can find an interesting line:

MAX_ChannelFrequency=430

Let's try 440 ! :p

(I used Native Programmer CM5000 Ver1.0.31)

This works great with te CM-5000 Native Programmer ver.1.07 (368-440MHz)
I tried it with the CM-9000 ver 2.05, but unfortunately, does not work.

I found that file (checkval.ini) too and changed it, but unfortunately that did not work at all for me. The native programmer just did not care about what was written in that file. In fact even deleting id did not matter.
