Beside Immediate Assignment message does any other message contain TA value as well? I wanted to know if its possible to know the TA value at a particular instance when RxQuality is bad.

thanks

I don't know which kind of tool do you use for analyzing. So, I recommend you about Tems Discovery to analyze. You can use function "Subview Synchronization Mode by Mouse Clicking" to see points that hav e bad RxQuality and see L3 message at the same time.

If you don't have Tems Discovery, contact me! I can share this tool for you free! : ))

Dear,

When in connected mode, TA & Power Control information is transmitted as Layer1 Header in SACCH canal

You could retrieve this information directly in the Information Elements processed by post proessing tools, like NemoAnalyse, TemsInvestigation, ...

Best regards,

Dear,

I think it's possible to extract TA from trace, but you need some scripting work :), also the med is still working for Nemo.

PM me if needed

An other way, you can check TA of each point by mouse click in "Point Detail", as image below
